Ask TENS is a public evidence-navigation service. This policy explains how the public website handles information submitted through the site and through connected Google services used by the system owner.
Public website
TENS is designed to minimize data collection. The public research portal does not use advertising trackers, promotional profiling, or persistent visitor identifiers for behavioral marketing.
Questions and technical data
Questions submitted to TENS may be processed to produce an answer and may be retained when necessary for system operation, troubleshooting, security, evidence-quality review, or service improvement. Standard network and server data may be processed for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.
Google account access
When the system owner authorizes Google access, TENS requests only the Google scopes needed for the approved workflow. Current Google integrations are used for read-only Gmail and Google Drive access unless a separate, explicit send authorization is granted. TENS does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
Use of Google data
Google user data accessed by TENS is used only to perform the user-authorized evidence, records, and workflow functions. Access is limited by authorization scope and stored credentials are protected on the authorized system.
Sharing
TENS does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service from abuse, or to service providers that are necessary to operate authorized functionality.
